George Ranch Historical Park is a living history museum that tracks four generations of one family over one hundred years of Texas history. Visit the 1830's Jones Stock Farm, the 1860's Ryon Prairie Home, the 1890's Davis Mansion, and the 1930's George Ranch Complex. Enjoy historic home tours, cattle-working demonstrations, a working blacksmith shop and more.
Open Tuesday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays, January 1, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Admission: $10 Adults $9 Seniors 62+ $5 Children ages 5-15 Children ages 4 and under are Free.
Learn to cook like your ancestors when you join us for our Fireside Suppers as we explore 19th century cooking techniques in two unique locations. Experience the Park as it comes to life in early morning dawn with our special Chuckwagon Breakfast. Learn more about these new Foodways Programs.
Add a splash of Texas flavor to your Saturday tour with one of our historic lunches. Dine on savory grilled pork at the 1830s Jones Stock Farm or sample some real Texas-style barbecue at the 1930s Bachelor House where cowboys would rest and relax after a long day working cattle.
Meals are held on Saturdays and rotate through five historic venues. Menus are changed to reflect the site. Meal prices do not include general admission to the Park.
Cost is $12.50 for adults ages 12 and older; $9 for children ages 5-11 and $4 for children 4 and under.
