Summer Field Trips: Beat the summer doldrums with a field trip to the George Ranch Historical Park! Children ages five through 15 will enjoy learning about ranch tools, livestock, food ways and what it was like to live as a kid in the early days of Texas history.

Preserving Your Family Heirlooms Workshop: Join Chris Godbold for a special behind-the-scenes workshop on Saturday, August 15 at 10 a.m. Guests will meet at the George Ranch Historical Park's Visitor's Center for a presentation and then will move to the Quonset building for a tour of the Museum Association's collections. Cost is free for members and $5 for non-members; Reservations are required, so call (281) 342-1256 to save your spot!
