"Fandango" is an old Spanish word that describes a high-spirited evening of entertainment and music. Join us for an evening "Fandango" at the 1890s cowboy camp and chuckwagon.
Have a seat on our tram and travel across time as you tour the Park's 180 years of Texas history. At the 1890s campsite, an authentic chuckwagon is set up with the cook busily preparing traditional cowboy grub over an open fire. You will discover just how well fed a cowboy could be when you dig into cowboy stew, beans, bread, dessert and coffee. A cowboy musician will play traditional acoustical music and a cowboy gambler will engage everyone in a hand of cards.
